Information
OCCUPANCY
The house sleeps a maximum of 10 people (up to 2 infants in cots (not provided) are not included in this number). Please note that due to the nature of the building, Burrows Court is not suitable for people unable to climb at least one flight of stairs.
SMOKING
Please note that smoking is not allowed inside the building.
PETS
We welcome well-behaved pets, at our discretion. Pets are charged at £10.00 per night or £30.00 per week/part week. Pets should not be left unattended in the property and the grounds do not have pet-proof boundaries. Pet-owners are responsible for their animals and for providing the pet’s bedding and food bowls, please contact us to enquire.
HIGHCHAIRS AND STAIR-GATES
One high chair and four stair-gates are provided.
ARRIVAL & DEPARTURE
The property will be available from 4pm on the day of arrival. Please vacate the property by 11am on the day of departure.
Please telephone if your arrival is delayed, so that arrangements can be revised. Check in and check out times can be flexible, when possible.
CENTRAL HEATING
There is no additional charge for heating and hot water.
LINEN
Bed linen for all beds is provided and beds will be made up before your arrival. Towels and tea-towels are provided.
CLEANING
The property is thoroughly cleaned between holidays but, because only a limited time is available for this, we ask that you leave the property and its contents clean and tidy. We provide basic cleaning/washing-up items, we do not provide personal toiletries, kitchen/bathroom/laundry disposables or toilet-tissue (we do ensure some of the latter is available in each bathroom at the start of your visit).
PARKING
There is a main car park to the left of the entrance of Burrows Court with ample space for parking and an area nearer the house for off-loading cases and picking up personnel etc.
INTERNET
Free superfast WiFi is available throughout the property.
SHOPPING
The nearest large supermarkets (Tesco, Sainsburys and Lidl) are at Cam and Dursley (5-10 minute drive) and there is also a farm shop on the road into Wotton-under-Edge. In Wotton itself (10 minutes by car) there is a large selection of shops including Tesco Express, Co-op, butchers, bakers and newsagents. North Nibley has a Village Hub and tea room.
GETTING AROUND
Public transport is extremely limited in this area so a car is essential.
EATING OUT
There are several pubs which serve food within a 10 minute drive. Slightly further afield there are numerous pubs, restaurants and tea shops catering for a wide range of tastes. There is a brochure provided with examples of menus of local pubs and restaurants.
FIREWORKS
As this is a rural area, closely surrounded by horses, cattle, sheep, dogs and other animals, fireworks are not permitted to be let off within the grounds.
